- Increase Your Spell / Weapon Damage
Your Spell and Weapon Damage (also called Spell Power and Weapon Power) is used to determine the damage or healing power of your abilities.
Spell Damage
Feb 22, 2019 Seal of Blood and Seal of Command are MELEE HOLY HITS. It should ignore armor, (which it does) should scale from spell dmg, (which it doesnt) BUT not 1:1 to spell dmg. The scale should be lower, and ALSO, it should scale melee and spell crit together. Hammer of Wrath and Judgement of Command/Blood should count melee + spell crit as well. He’s not hitting the 52% cdr breakpoint but if he did it’ll push it from 7.5 to 10 but his aps will be off between coc and cospri. @cryxus thanks for the tree suggestion again. Saved me 1 point. Ended up dropping the power charge near Templar and hit the life wheel that you suggested. Spell is an offensive ability that deals damage to targets based on damage defined by a skill gem.Skills that deal spell damage have a Spell gem tag. Spell damage is one of four damage sources.
Spell Damage, along with Max Magicka, determines the damage and healing of abilities which use Magicka.
Weapon Damage
Spell crit is the percent chance that a hit will go crit, increasing its damage by 50%. If an ability hits for 10,000 damage, it will crit for 15,000. Spell crit hits apply to any damage or healing resulting from a magic based ability.
Weapon Damage, along with Max Stamina, determines the damage and healing of abilities which use Stamina.
Increase Your Spell / Weapon Damage
There are lots of ways you can increase your Spell and Weapon Damage.
Your Weapon
The weapon that you wield into a fight has the biggest impact on your Spell and Weapon Damage values. You’ll notice that all weapons of all types give a damage stat on them – this is both Spell and Weapon Damage and when you equip that weapon your character sheet will reflect this.
You can increase the damage given by your weapon by increasing its Level as you Level up and by increasing your weapons quality. A weapon comes in one of five quality types; increasing the quality of a weapon increases its stats equivalence to adding another Level.
White – Normal
Green – Fine (+1 Level Stats)
Blue – Superior (+2 Level Stats)
Purple – Epic (+3 Level Stats)
