Quick Melee[edit | edit source]

Icon

Quick melee does 30 damage, is active for 0.5 seconds, and has a range of 2.5 meters, and has a cooldown of 1 second. This cooldown starts as soon as the attack is used and is not affected by the melee being interrupted.

Quick melee is available to all heroes, except Reinhardt and Brigitte who have their own melee attacks. Additionally, Torbjörn is unable to perform a quick melee while he has his Forge Hammer equipped, but he can when he has his Rivet Gun equipped. Similarly, Genji and Winston will be unable to perform a quick melee while using Dragonblade and Primal Rage, respectively, but can use quick melee otherwise. For the above heroes, attempting to use quick melee will yield no result, with exception to Brigitte, who will use her Rocket Flail.

Heroes By Auto Attack Dmg Free

I'm a level 30 but I'm still a pretty awful player LOL. I seem to have gotten to the level by loving the game and trying hard, but the only way to break through the 'Noob Barrier' is a better understanding of the mathematical conclusions of the technical game concepts. I am trying to understand where Basic attack damage comes from...can it be buffed through items, runes, masteries?....sure, attack speed will aid almost any kind of attack wouldn't it? including abilities (certain ones?) so it seems over-obvious for League wiki to say that AS can help your auto-attacks. Are Basic Attack and Auto-Attack even that synonymous? Please help me understand first and foremost I guess...to put it simply:
When I'm not using an ability and I right click a target and I shoot out the non-ability attack, what determines it's damage and how can it be buffed?
This is what League Wiki says:
'Autoattacks always deal physical damage unless one of the following abilities is used, in which case the whole damage of the autoattack will be magic damage.
------>Poppy's Devastating Blow
------>Mordekaiser's Mace of Spades
However, certain items, abilities or passives may cause them to deal additional magic damage on top of their base physical damage. Damage from autoattacks benefits from the attack damage stat on the attacker and are reduced by armor on the target.
When autoattacking a turret, the damage is based on the base attack damage added to either the bonus attack damage or 40% of a champion's ability power, depending on which one is higher.
For some reason Wiki is confusing me. Thank You VERY MUCH for helping me break through the NOOB BARRIER!
