May 16, 2018 2. If you max out dex and con and use a shield you get 22 AC (not counting magic items) a feat not many other classes can compare to 3. You get less damage but you can tank more because AC will be higher 4. The only ability you're missing out on is the tiny bonus to damage that they get 5. Also, stat-wise, they have initial strength and con bonuses - the most important stats for a barbarian -, they have 'Relentless Endurance' (basically, you don't die when dropping to 0 hit points, 1/day), and they have savage attacks, so you deal extra damage on a crit.
Been away from the game a long time, and have been dusting off and trying out my old characters with some of the new hotness. My barbarian definitely feels faaaaar more survivable with Blood Strength, but it still feels pretty squishy all the same, and I hate having to rely on Silver Flame potions--his saves are pretty ****** already (working on that) without adding a huge penalty on top.
I've played around a little with Cocoon on my monk and my rogue, and I'm not seeing what all the fuss is about--the healing seems too slow, and one hit wipes away the temp HP and DoT heal... what am I missing?
Anyway, I was wondering which ends up being a better, more survivable character for EE and LE content? A 20 barbarian, or a 20 fighter? Entertaining either LR +20ing, or TRing (probably the latter, since Half-orc isn't adding much to the character right now).
Also, what would be the most survivable race? Human for the healing amp? Dwarf for the extra saves vs. spells? Definitely want to be THF, as I have a paladin for S&B, and both a monk and a rogue for TWF.
TWF Barbarian: The extra 3-5 damage PLUS rage damage (2-4) on the bonus action attack really brings up the floor of damage for a TWF Barbarian. It’s not saying taking a fighter level is a MUST for a TWF Barbarian, but it does greatly boost your damage if you’re going down the. On top of that, if you want the strength/con/dex boost (on top of items+tomes+WK bonuses) you can always dual-class to cleric. Elder orbs cast imprisonment at touch range, so try to avoid meleeing them. With a good bow or throwing axe or even a sling (with str dmg bonus) a barb can kill a foe from afar too. Jul 26, 2015 You MUST use Unity and Convention for big damage and big damage reduction. The weapons are't big deal right now. First of all, get a Wastes Glove, and a String of Ears belt. Those are not hard to get at all. Then, go for rings, Unity and Convention with 190+ proc, With critical chance and critical damage, and if possible, atack speed. Diablo 3's Patch 2.6.4 brought significant changes to Raekor's Set bonus damage which now increases the damage of Fury spenders by up to an astounding 27500%! This is one of the highest damage bonuses out of all Diablo 3 sets, and on top of that, it's one that can be easily reached within a matter of seconds and selected Fury Spenders can be. Re: U24 Max DPS Barbarian If the video you saw is the dps test in cabal she is in divine crusader for better burst dps and brag about it. But the build is for dreadnought.
Does the barbarians rage resistance work vs magic weapons or spells that deal damage he resists?
Rage gives you resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage—no matter the source of that damage. #DnDhttps://t.co/BX9CMPyfex

@JeremyECrawford I thought that rage specifically called out resistance to nonmagical B,P,S damage from weapons?

Rage: “You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and
slashing damage” (PH, 48). There are no restrictions. #DnDhttps://t.co/zGCfXwqyLv
